Remember the joke about how Ford stands for “Fix Or Repair Daily?” Well, the company is back with yet another recall in 2025.

Why Is Ford Recalling These Vehicles?
The recall is due to an issue with the Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module. This device assists in powering the brakes. When the problem occurs in these defective products, the result can be a loss of power to the brakes while driving. This issue can also present while using the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
The failure can result in the automobile not braking as expected. Most commonly, the issue extends the time required to slow down or stop. This creates an increased risk of crashing.
The recall report estimates 1% of the 312,120 vehicles could experience this fault. (source). This includes 217,969 F-150 trucks, 26,582 Expedition SUVs, 39,913 Broncos, 20,552 Rangers, and 7,104 Lincoln Navigators.
